I am an inveterate spinner and mostly do it at Crunch Fitness at least 2 days per week. Work has made this less than possible so I opted to try a spin bike at home. I wanted a commercial grade one but found the the cost was something that I could not justify. This led me to hunting for something that would do the job without raising eyebrows. For what it is this is an excellent bike. It is amazingly stable and sturdy. My criticisms are simple: The handle bars wiggle. This sucks. I imagine I can find a simple solution to this but it irritates me. The pedals are not spin shoe ready. If you know what a spin shoe is you know my problem. If you do not you are in a blissful state that I envy. I will be buying spin shoe ready pedals today. The sturdiness of the thing and the fat seat are excellent selling points. It is also quiet. Although heavy at 90 lbs it is easy to move due to little wheels on the front of the unit. I tend to look out the window when I spin but my Esposa Caliente likes to watch the tube…so we move it around. This is definitely a bargain bike and if you need the very best pay the $1200. If you want to sweat buckets, lose fat, make your heart strong…and save a few bones…this bike would work.
Love it, great price, delivered on time, sturdy. good workout if you don’t have time to get to a gym.
